Overview

The core of the LMICSE project is developing a suite of materials that can be used through the undergraduate curriculum. While it is expected that the bulk of these materials will be developed by members of the project team, we welcome submissions and ideas from the broader community of CS educators. Please contact us if you would like to contribute to our project.

Supported Courses

We are currently working on lab materials for the following courses and are putting materials up almost daily at this point.

  1. CS 1
  2. Data Structures & Algorithms
  3. Programming Languages
  4. Computer Architecture
  5. Intelligent Systems
  6. Operating Systems
  7. Net-centric Computing

Project and Lab Status information

For each project or lab listed on one of the area pages we indicate there its development status:

  • draft - these materials are under development. Items indicated as early drafts my not be usable as they stand.
  • alpha - these materials are ready to be used in a class, and usually have been so used at least once.
  • beta - these materials have been used in classes, and updated based on feedback received from students and intructors.
  • production - these materials are considered fully tested and mature.

If a project/lab is currently being edited by a member of the project team and is subject to change within weeks we indicate that as well. Usually development occurs over the summer and existing projects and labs are stable during the school year.
