About Me
My name is Frank Newman, i am in the class of 2009. I am from Clare Michigan, where I grew up on a family farm. My major is in accounting and after Alma college I would like to get an accounting job around the Mid Michigan area.
Reason for going to Ecuador
My reason for going on this trip to Ecuador is to have a great experience that I will probably never get the chance to have ever again. I hope to experince the culture of a completely different place that is so far away. I also hope to have a great time with all of the cool people also attending this spring term coarse.
Expectaions
During my stay in Ecuador I will be living with Thomas Stock. I expect that Quito will be an awesome cultural experince. I can't wait to see how different this country will be. I love horseback riding but haven't rode a horse since last summer. I am very excited for that and expect that that will be fun. The trip to the volcanoe will be cool too. I think that the coolest part of the trip for me will be staying in the cloud rainforest and the galopogos Islands. I love nature and i think it will be really cool to see some animals that are found no where else in the world.

During our trip in the cloud rainforest we plan to hike many trails to obtain photos and experiences. This map will not only contain our experiences but will be more of a guide for future hikers. We will document the trails, wildlife, and sleeping arrangments.
