I am one of the three leaders for the STC 005: Cross-Cultural Learning in Ecuador.Hola! Me llamo, Gayle, y soy la esposa de Dr. Mark Seals. Estoy viajando a Ecuador con los estudiantes de Alma College, y estoy ayudando con el grupo de espaƱol en Quito. (Hi! My name is Gayle, and I am the wife of Dr. Mark Seals. Background
I am a certified teacher with a minor in Science, and am working toward a minor in Spanish as well. I have taught kindergarten through 6th grade levels in both public, private, and home-school environments since 1984. I traveled to Ecuador in 2006 with my husband, mother-in-law, and 12- year old daughter, Mary. During our stay in Quito we conducted research in the local schools, lived with a host family, and traveled extensively throught Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.
