Host families

While in the city students will stay with middle to upper middle class host families. The family homes are all within 10-15 minutes walking distance of the Academia. Each participant will have a private bedroom and bathroom. The host family provides breakfast, dinner, and laundry services. Most families speak some English.
You will receive a confirmation and housing assignments from the Academia. You will receive a packing list and suggestions for a host family gift from the Academia. One of the goals of the trip is to learn about other cultures and a good way to do this is to live with a family. Participants may request a transfer to a different family if for any reason they do not feel comfortable with their assigned family.
