I am a junior at Alma College with a major in Elementary Education and a double minor in integrated science and mathematics. I also plan on completing a minor in physical education. I would someday like to teach physical education in an elementary school.

Why I chose to go to Ecuador

On this trip to Ecuador, I will be living with Andi Reeves and Kelley Halverson. I am going to be placed in an Ecudorian school and am looking forward to working with students of a different culture. This experience will help me appreciate where I live, as well as understanding students of different backgrounds. Also, being a science minor, I am very excited about visiting the Galapagos Islands. I will be experiencing first hand what I may be teaching students some day.

A Small Look At My Final Project

I am looking forward to visiting the Galapagos Islands. As a science minor, I may be teaching this material in the future. It would be great for me to have a resource for my students to look into when studying about these interesting islands.
