Flying in the Sky

Today was the traveling day to the Galapagos! We had a fun adventure on this extremely small airplane. The view out the window of the airplane was fantastic, you could see the different blue's of the water; it was amazing! When we arrived at the airport we had to get off the plane outside; it was extremely hot and muggy outside, and we had to wait in this huge line to pay our fee and have our passports checked. After we got all checked we got on this jam packed bus that took us to where our boat would be taking off from. When we got off the bus we saw sea lions just hanging out on the benches, it was a very amazing sight to see. These animals just did not care that us humans were around, they slept through it all. We then hopped on a motor boat that took us to where our big ship was anchored!

When we got on the ship we were taken to our rooms, which were so small, but amazing! We had a fabulous view our windows. The bathrooms were extremely small, but hey they worked! After we got all settled into our rooms we got a little overview of everything we were going to be doing over the next few days. This was extremely informing to us because we got to hear a lot about the animals we were going to be seeing! Then when the meeting was all done we finally sat down for a very nice dinner! it was very fancy and the food was incredible! When we were all done with dinner we were all able to hang out and explore our ship. We went from the decks to way down below to scope everything out. Mainly people stayed on the deck and enjoyed the nice night breeze; and in the Galapagos you can see so many stars at night it is the most amazing thing.

The End of the Day

So that my friends was the traveling day to the Galapagos. It was a stressful but very fun and exciting day. We learned a lot and we got a chance to bond with all our friends on this trip!
