Our day started out with all of us gathering in the courtyard of the academy, and continuing on to each of our classes until lunch.

Then, we had a little bit of free time before the salsa lessons, in which some people went to the internet cafes or did the homework they had been assigned that day. David was the dance instructor.

After the the dance lessons came the pizza party, where we had the opportunity to try toppings typical in Quito, such as corn.

Later we went to Jacchigua, the Ecuatorian folkloric ballet, which tells the story of the lives of the people in the different areas of Ecuador.
